DAY 1 - LONDON to JOHANNESBURG
South African Airways overnight flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg.
DAY 2 - JOHANNESBURG to OKAVANGO DELTA
On arrival connect with your Air Botswana flight to Maun, from where you will take a Delta Air (or similar) light aircraft flight to Delta Camp (superior option). On arrival, transfer to your camp where you will stay two nights. At Delta Camp, an exclusive waterside hideaway on the southwestern edge of Chief’s Island, stay overnight in a raised chalet built of reed and wood. Tranquillity and sensitivity avails here – game tracking is offered on foot and you will also be encouraged to visit the local village and its people.
DAY 3 - OKAVANGO DELTA
Spend the day at your camp, enjoying the various activities on offer, including bush walks and authentic mokoro excursions (seasonal and dependent on water levels).
DAY 4 - OKAVANGO DELTA to MOREMI GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, depart your camp via a Delta Air (or similar) light aircraft charter transfer to Mapula Lodge (superior). Mapula Lodge is situated in the northeastern Okavango Delta in a private area just outside of Moremi Game Reserve. A chalet made of natural log will be your base here, in the midst of a true wilderness with a permanent lagoon attracting prolific wildlife viewing.
DAY 5 - MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Spend the day at your camp, enjoying the various activities on offer, including day and night game drives , night drives, bush walks and mokoro excursions (seasonal and dependent on water levels) at Mapula Lodge.
DAY 6 - MOREMI GAME RESERVE to LONDON
After breakfast, depart your camp via Delta Air (or similar) light aircraft charter transfer to Maun airport. Fly Air Botswana to Johannesburg and onwards on an overnight South African Airways flight to Heathrow. Alternatively, extend your stay with two nights at Meno A Kwena Tented Camp.
MAKGADIKGADI PANS NATIONAL PARK
DAY 7 → On arrival at Maun airport, travel approx. two hours by road transfer to Meno A Kwena Tented Camp, built on a cliff overlooking the dry Boteti River in the Kalahari, and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
DAY 8 → Spend the day at the camp and experience game drives and bush walks, with the thrilling opportunity to spot white rhino. This camp is in a unique position allowing you to enjoy extensive and varied trips to Makgadikgadi and Nxai Pans National Parks.
DAY 9 → After breakfast, depart Meno A Kwena Tented Camp and travel by road transfer to Maun airport. Fly Air Botswana to Johannesburg and onwards on an overnight South African Airways overnight flight to Heathrow, arriving the following day.
